1 in 5 older Americans can not drive and miss 15% of medical appointments.  When driving ceases, older adults experience many adverse consequences including less access to health care, increased dependency, social isolation, and depression.   It is our mission at A Golden Ride, to offer senior rides along with veterans and adults with disabilities to maintain their independence by providing them a safe and private transportation service.  Leave the driving to us! 

A Golden Ride believes confidentiality and safety is of utmost importance.  

Our AMBASSADORS:

• Assist with stowing away walkers, canes and wheelchairs

• Multiple stops are allowed

• Undergone background check from SLED

• DMV clearance

• Trained in First Aid/CPR

• Wear a name badge for identification

Our vehicles:

Our vehicles are clean, well maintained, and are low to the ground for easy entry and exit. If you prefer a higher vehicle, please let us know in advance.
