Life is a golden ride, let us help you get there

Welcome

A Golden Ride, LLC  is a Mount Pleasant, SC based transportation service dedicated to seniors and those with disabilities. The company provides ambulatory transportation, accompaniment, and courier services to people who do not have access to driving.  The services are offered on a reservation basis.  A Golden Ride prides itself on offering a personalized and safe door-to-door transport service.  We also offer accompaniment as we realize that there are times seniors feel more comfortable with having someone stay with them at their appointment.

1 in 5 older Americans cannot drive and miss 15% of medical appointments.  Currently, there are 75 million people in the U.S. who do not own a Smartphone.  A Golden Ride was established to bridge the gap of seniors and those who do not have access to a Smartphone or are not willing to book an on-demand service. A Golden Ride was created to cater to seniors in a safe and familiar environment.

Sandra Quinque is the owner of Golden Ride.  Sandra’s mother always said she has been fiercely independent her entire life.  As she watched her own parent’s age, she saw how difficult it was for her mother to “get out” without the help of Sandra’s father.   Her mother, Beverly is also fiercely independent.   It was watching this decline of independence that Sandra decided to create a service to help seniors maintain their freedom and not have to rely on family or friends to get out to do their weekly activities.   It is her mission to help seniors maintain a happy and self-reliant lifestyle.

Previously, Sandra spent 14 years as an entrepreneur/consultant in the direct sales industry.  She was recognized as a top leader in the organization.  She also spent 13 years in the information technology industry.   Sandra served as President of the Parent Guild at Bishop England High School.  In this position, she helped re-brand the parent organization to the current Parent Guild as it stands today. She helped raise thousands of dollars to procure technology and other needs for the school.  She has also held other volunteer positions at Christ Our King School and Church over the years.

Sandra has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.  She is happily married for 26 years to Ernie and has a son, Ben and daughter Sophia.  They live with their 2 golden retrievers, Duke and Scout.
